Carbon Fee and Dividend
Adrian Rafizadeh is an incoming first-year student at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Conservative Climate Outreach Fellow with the Citizens’ Climate Lobby. He has given talks promoting carbon fee and dividend to organizations across the West Coast and has been published in the Sacramento Bee. He aims to involve individuals across the political spectrum in climate advocacy, from college-age students to members of Congress.

The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, HR 763 in the U.S. House, involves a revenue-neutral, gradually rising fee on carbon emissions. The policy has bipartisan cosponsors, as well as endorsements from leaders on both sides of the aisle. The talk will cover the policy, what it entails, and who supports it.
