Our club's high school speech contest was conducted on Thursday, March 13th, on the theme "Service Above Self". It was a remarkable display of passion, empathy, and eloquence. Each contestant delivered thought-provoking speeches, sharing inspiring stories of selflessness, community service, and the power of giving. Their words reflected a deep understanding of the importance of serving others and making a difference in society.

The judges and audience were thoroughly impressed by the contestants' confidence, creativity, and heartfelt messages. The outstanding performances made it clear that the spirit of service is alive in the younger generation, giving hope for a more compassionate future. Congratulations to all participants for their exceptional efforts and for embodying the true essence of "Service Above Self."

A big thanks to Youth Services Director, Nick for organizing the event! The event would not have been possible without the additional efforts of Sara (for a being a fantastic and knowledgeable emcee), Ruth (for providing the food), Robbie (for his insights for the next Rotary year), Greg (for being the Timer), Marianna (for her excellent treasurer skills and proving the check awards) and Van for her precious attendance.
