Your gift will help a child attending the school by giving families a food package. Many families are facing the threat of starvation. These are children whose parent(s) cannot pay the tuition or are AIDS orphans without any resources. You're helping in a most important way.
Our project for the Chamabondo School originated with a partnership between the Rotary Club of San Jose East/Evergreen and the Rotary Club of Victoria Falls in 2007. Your support has enabled the project to grow and continue for more than 10 years during which time the school has expanded from three classrooms to 24; from sitting in the dirt to having tables and desks; from having no materials to having a computer lab; from turning away students who couldn't pay tuition to accepting students with scholarships.
