Opening Session

Our seats - way up in the stands but the large screens enabled us to see everything.

We all (!) headed over to the BMO Center after the session.

The BMO Center housed the RI headquarters, House of Friendship and break-out rooms.

New Club Announced

President-elect Robbie Izat formally announced the acceptance by Rotary International the merger of Rotary Club of San Jose/East/Evergreen and Rotary Club of San Jose Silicon Valley.

The name of the merged club: Rotary Club of San Jose East Silicon Valley!

We are looking forward to our New Beginning! More details will follow as we get organized with an updated web site and our presence in social media.

Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger.

We expand access to quality care, so mothers and children everywhere can have the same opportunities for a healthy future.

An estimated 5.9 million children under the age of five die each year because of malnutrition, inadequate health care, and poor sanitation — all of which can be prevented.

HOW ROTARY MAKES HELP HAPPEN

Rotary provides education, immunizations, birth kits, and mobile health clinics. Women are taught how to prevent mother-to-infant HIV transmission, how to breast-feed, and how to protect themselves and their children from disease.

For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
$50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
